Congress on Wednesday released its third list of 40 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections next month.

BJP released its third list of three candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.

The Congress has so far declared a total of 81 candidates for the elections to the 90-member Haryana Assembly scheduled to take place on October 5.

In its fourth list, Congress has fielded Parimal Pari from Ambala Cantt, Sachin Kundu from Panipat Rural, Satbir Dublain from Narwana (SC), Sarva Mitra Kamboj from Rania and Rohit Nagar from Tigaon.

With the fourth and fifth lists, the party has declared candidates on 88 of the 90 seats.

Carved out as a separate constituency only in 2009, the Ladwa Assembly seat in Haryana has all eyes on it ahead of the Assembly polls in the state because the BJP has fielded Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini from there.

Haryana Assembly elections 2024: Earlier, AAP and Congress negotiated for an alliance but failed to reach a consensus on seat sharing. Subsequently, AAP announced to contest the polls alone.

The Congress late Wednesday night released a list of five candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. Earlier in the day, the party announced its candidates for 40 seats.
