The new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are here at a great price

by · Android Headlines

Bose is one of the leading audio companies on the market. It released a handful of TWS earbuds, and some of them are under its QuietComfort branding. Well, Bose just released the new QuietComfort earbuds for 2024. These are the sequel to the pair released back in 2022.

Fans of the QuietComfort line should have seen these earbuds coming. Bose released its first pair back in 2020 and its second pair back in 2022. The company is going on a two-year release cycle with these earbuds. This goes for the standard earbuds. Last year, Bose released the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds, which brought some enhanced features like spatial audio.

The new Bose QuietComfort earbuds are here, and they’re affordable

This time around, you shouldn’t expect too much to be different from the 2022 earbuds. Since these are the standard earbuds, you’re getting some pretty standard features for the price. Speaking of the price, these earbuds come in at $179. That’s pretty standard for a pair of high-quality earbuds with features like ANC and transparency mode. In fact, this is the same price as the new AirPods 4 with ANC.

The QuietComfort have an IPX4 water resistance rating. This means that your earbuds will be just fine if you’re caught in a light drizzle. This rating is mostly for people who want to use these earbuds while working out. So, you won’t have to worry about your sweat ruining them.

Moving onto the audio, Bose says that these earbuds have “best-in-class” ANC. We’re not sure if the company improved the ANC compared to the 2022 iteration, but it seems likely. Bose didn’t mention that or how the audio is better this time around compared to the last generation. We can guess that the company used improved drivers and probably upgraded the chip powering the earbuds.

If you’re planning on using these earbuds for an extended period of time, then you’re going to like the battery life. You’re able to get up to 8.5 hours on a single charge, which is really good for a pair of earbuds. With the charging case included, you’re looking at about 30 hours in total. If you happen to run out of battery power, you’ll get about 3 hours from a short 20-minute charge.

Other features

The earbuds are half of the experience, and the Bose QC app is the other half. Using this app, you’re able to control different aspects of the experience. If you’re not happy with the sound of the earbuds out of the box, you can customize it with the built-in 5-band EQ.

Along with that, you can adjust the touch controls, switch between ANC and Transparency mode, and adjust other parts of the experience. You’re able to truly customize your experience.

If you’re interested in buying a pair of these earbuds, you can buy them now from the company’s website.
