ITV I'm A Celebrity's Coleen Rooney shares Wayne's incredibly unromantic proposal venue

Coleen Rooney spilled the beans about Wayne Rooney's less-than-romantic proposal on the recent episode of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. The celebrity opened up about when Wayne, just one year her senior, proposed back in 2003, with Coleen then only being 17.

Expecting a tale filled with romance, the campmates were surprised to learn that Wayne popped the question at a petrol station. On Sunday 1 December, during 'I'm A Celeb', which presented an opportunity for campmates to win letters from home by recognising special phrases.

Coleen quickly matched the phrase 'petrol station' to Wayne's unconventional proposal spot. Post the emotional moment with letters, Reverend Richard Coles asked more about the unusual proposal setting where Coleen recounted: "I knew it was gonna happen but I definitely didn't know it was gonna be in a petrol station, but I'm glad we didn't do it in a restaurant to be honest with you.

"We were only young, so we went back and had corned beef hash instead! " Richard also shared his own nuptials story about getting hitched in a registry office and then humourously recalled crashing his husband's new car on their wedding night: "And then he got a new car and that night I crashed it! I drove it through a hedge into a ditch!".

Coleen, in a recent episode of the show, left her fellow campmates stunned as she revealed details about her £20m family home. On Saturday night's episode (November 30), the 38 year old didn't shy away from sharing details about her life with ex-footballer Wayne and their four sons, reports OK!.

As Tulisa and GK Barry were preparing kangaroo tail - a reward from the previous day's TV-themed Bushtucker trial - Oti Mabuse asked Coleen if she had a club in her house. The WAG surprised everyone when she admitted: "We have a few bars."

She went on to describe her Cheshire mansion, saying: "We have the common bar, where if people come back late we'll have that and we use that for parties because it goes out onto the garden so we can open it up." She also mentioned that the property includes a football pitch.

Known as High Lake Manor, Coleen and Wayne's house also boasts a swimming pool, cinema, gym and snooker room.
