Laila Rouass and Ronnie O'Sullivan spotted kissing just one day on from split being revealed

Just a day after reports of a break-up, EastEnders actress Laila Rouass and snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan were spotted hugging and kissing on a dog walk together

EastEnders actress Laila Rouass and Ronnie O'Sullivan shared a kiss a day after it was reported the couple had called time on their engagement again.

The pair, who had been in an on-and-off relationship for 12 years were said to have parted company again. New images, however, show the pair still very cosy with each other. After reports the EastEnders actress and snooker legend had split, they reunited for a dog walk and shared a hug and kiss.

The former couple seemed to have put the past behind them for their outdoor jaunt, with both stars wearing all black outfits for the occasion. Despite looking like they were on good terms as they took their pet pooches for some exercise, it's claimed Ronnie didn't spend the night with the actress. A source told The Sun the pair are "still split but keeping things friendly".

It was claimed on Thursday the pair had called time on their coupling as they were "going in different directions". Just a month ago, Laila had appeared on This Morning not wearing her diamond engagement ring that Ronnie gave her in 2013. The source continue to tell the publication Ronnie spending months on the road, travelling to countries such as China and Saudi Arabia for big-money competitions, and Laila concentrating on her career had caused their link-up to become distant.

"There is a lot of love between them but they have been going in different directions and conceded it is over," the source said. However, the insider confessed that the pair's closest pals were hopeful the split was just "a blip" similar to their brief parting in 2022. The source concluded: "They’ve tried so hard but they just can’t make it work."

Laila and Ronnie first started dating in 2012. The sports star popped the question a year later, with Laila joyfully accepting. However, in 2022, they hit a rocky patch and called a temporary quits. The duo reconnected in 2023 and Ronnie conceded at the time that he had to "behave". "She’s great. I love her. She’s great company and I love being around her," he said at the time.

"She’s very supportive. I have to behave myself. I know when to go, 'Alright, you’re in charge'. But she’s also really good at going, 'Listen, you’ve got a busy life, you’ve got a lot to do, just get on with it'. Now it feels a lot better – everyone’s just in a better place. I just want to see her and her daughter happy, and her family, who are like my family, happy."
