Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba has posted a cryptic message on social media to fuel speculation of a development around his doping ban.

The 2018 World Cup winner has been suspended until 2027 after failing a test last year and has appealed the ban at the Court of Arbitration for Sport and maintains he did not intentionally take a prohibited substance.

And the former France midfielder once again has supporters talking with an Instagram post in which he is training with the caption beneath reading: "Time has its own ways of revealing truth just be patient and live life ,you will get answers sooner or later."

In May it was reported that he had turned to acting during his time away from the pitch and was filming scenes for a French film called 4 Zéros in Paris.

The movie is a sequel to 3 Zéros, which came out in 2002, and is slated to be released in April next year. French outlet Le Parisien stated that Pogba plays a youth football coach and cite a source who claims he "amazed everyone" on set.

Pogba has previously vowed to tell his side of the story when he is "free of legal restrictions."

In a statement released after the ban was announced, Pogba said: "I have today been informed of the Tribunale Nazionale Antidoping's decision and believe that the verdict is incorrect.

"I am sad, shocked and heartbroken that everything I have built in my professional playing career has been taken away from me. When I am free of legal restrictions the full story will become clear, but I have never knowingly or deliberately taken any supplements that violate anti-doping regulations.

"As a professional athlete I would never do anything to enhance my performance by using banned substances and have never disrespected or cheated fellow athletes and supporters of any of the teams I have played for, or against."

Pogba returned to Juventus in 2022 on a free transfer following his second spell at Old Trafford, with the midfielder helping United win the Europa League and League Cup.
