ITV I'm A Celebrity's Coleen Rooney rumbles Danny Jones' plan to deceive camp ahead of final

Danny Jones is instructed to deceive his fellow campmates during a task ahead of the final which shows him to be a true runner for the finale as he dupes his campmates

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Danny Jones was tasked with a secret mission which meant he had to deceive his fellow campmates.

The former McFly star, 38, was told to enter the Bush Telegraph and was given a tint toy ranger alongside a note that was laminated. The note told him to keep his mission a secret in order to win rewards for camp and his first task was to hide the tiny toy ranger until told otherwise.

The laminate said: "Remember, whatever happens in camp is between you and the ranger!" On exit of the Bush Telegraph, Danny looked cheeky as he set about finding a perfect hiding spot, but was cornered by Revered Richard Coles. On their encounter, Danny thought quickly on his feet and told him he thought he had seen a spider.

He then returned to the Bush Telegraph only to be given a bigger "action man sized ranger", that he needed to hide. And it got bigger, He told viewers: "This is impossible!", as he tried to get the ranger mannequin out of the Bush Telegraph.However, he then suffered a slight mishap as the hand part fell off. And at this point he exclaimed: "This is a terrible start!"

In a desperate bid to remove his campmates from his hiding spot, he told them he had seen a Koala Bear. He said: "Do you guys wanna see a koala? I’ve spotted one up a tree down there! Right at the bottom” Getting them to follow him he continued: "I thought koalas were endangered?" And Oti added: "I was just here!"

Keen to quickly get away, Danny then said: "Why don’t you look for it, I need to have a wee, bottom of the creek somewhere!" Danny then returned to camp to try and hide the life sized ranger in the Leaders' Lodge. He covered it with a sleeping bag. But it seems Wagatha Christie, also known as Coleen, was quick to spot a difference in Danny as she asked: "What are you up to?" Unable to keep his secret mission a secret, he revealed that he had been tasked with successfully hiding four rangers in camp.

He then said there was another task that had to be completed by Richard, Coleen and Oti. And that task was for the remining group to find the rangers - to win ice cream. Oti was the first to find the life-sized ranger in the Leaders' Lodge, followed by Coleen. Oti then found the other rangers by Danny's bed and this was followed by the WAG who found the last rangers beneath leaves.
