Ong Seong Wu Discharged From The Military

On October 16, Ong Seong Wu, who diligently served for approximately 18 months in the military band of the army, was discharged.
The actor shared his thoughts on his discharge through his agency Fantagio, saying, “I have deep respect for the officers and soldiers who dedicate themselves to the country as well as the many senior members who have completed their service. It was a time filled with experiences and emotions that I wouldn’t have encountered otherwise in my life. I gained strength thanks to the support of my fans, WELO (Ong Seong Wu’s official fan club name), my family, and friends who waited for me.”
The actor continued, “As I conclude my twenties with my military service, I will begin my thirties with the valuable experiences I’ve gained. I ask for your continued interest and support in the future.”
Ong Seong Wu first debuted as a singer in 2017 through “Produce 101 Season 2.” Since then, he has showcased his versatility as an all-around artist, appearing in various genres across television and film, including the dramas “Moment of 18” and “Strong Girl Namsoon” as well as the film “Life is Beautiful.”
