Strictly Come Dancing fans fume 'I don't like it' minutes into results show

On Sunday night, fans tuned in to watch the first Strictly Come Dancing results show

Strictly Come Dancing fans seemed to issue the same complaint just minutes into the results show on Sunday. Instead of opening with the professional dancer's performance, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcomed viewers.

Fans quickly took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts and while some loved it, others weren't as impressed.

One fan wrote: "That was a very weird opening. Why did Tess & Claud introduce the pro number? #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly."

Another asked: "Why are we not starting straight into a pro number please stop changing the format it’s weirding me out #strictly."

A third added: "Something feel off this year like they are formatting the show differently? I don’t like it #Strictly." (sic)

Someone else said: "I must ask why they don’t just do the results later on Saturday night #strictly."

"Kinda weird having the judges be in the pros dance no? #strictly," another went one as one commented: "Genuinely what is going on #Strictly."

However, not everyone shared the same views with one writing: "This is incredible... #strictly."
