Taylor Swift fans think she's changing Eras Tour setlist amid rehearsal rumours

As Swifties wait to see if Taylor Swift will switch up the Eras Tour setlist when the tour resumes later this month, fans are wondering if there are signs she's busy working on her new show

Taylor Swift fans are counting down the days until the Eras Tour resumes on 18 October.

After taking a break following her London shows, the singer will be back performing in the US, and Swifties think she could be updating her setlist for the occasion.

Earlier this summer, she overhauled her show as she kicked off the European leg of the tour. But will she change it again for the final leg of the Eras Tour?

Swifties say it's highly likely. For starters, she added 'Florida!!!' to the setlist during her final performance in Europe. In a major surprise, Florence Welch joined Taylor onstage to perform their hit song, complete with new choreography and staging. So it would be a shame to scrap the new song when the tour makes its comeback in Flordia.

Then there's the small matter of re-recordings. There's lots of speculation surrounding the last two albums Taylor's yet to revisit as part of her re-recording project, and fans think she could be releasing them before the end of the Eras Tour.

Given Taylor updated her European shows to include her new album 'The Tortured Poets Department', it's feasible the tour could change again if she does release new music, and if that's not enough, she might revise her setlist just because she fancies a change.

Either way, Swifties suspect she's up to something. Amid her recent absences from Travis Kelce's games, and rumours she's back in rehearsals, fans think she could be busy working on a new setlist.

Sharing Eras Tour theories on Reddit, one fan said: "I think Florida!!! will become a permanent part of the setlist. If she just wanted to surprise the crowd she could've invited Florence to the surprise set, but she decided to have a full band arrangement, stage design + choreography instead."

Another replied: "My unhinged theory is that something new is being added to the Eras Tour setlist and that she’s been busy in rehearsals for that… I really hope by the end of the tour we have a song or two from Debut, or who knows: maybe the 12th square will be filled on the Eras Tour merch with a 12th album!"

Someone else thought: "We may see some big changes in Miami," and a different fan speculated: "With this gap in the tour, and her disappearing (at least from the chief's games), when tour resumes, she's dropping rep tv and changing the setlist."
