MAFS star Sacha reveals real reason behind marriage crisis - and it's not what you think

Married At First Sight star Sacha sets the record straight over the reason behind her marriage crisis as fans blamed her needing to be with her parents for not wanting to move to Manchester

Married At First Sight viewers saw Sacha Jones U-turn over her decision to move to Manchester in a bid to continue her relationship with husband Ross McCarthy.

And during last night's episode, fans were led to believe her need to stay close to her parents in Walsall was the reason why the couple had hit a sticky patch in their relationship. But now, Sacha decided to set the record straight as she's insisted that the close bond she shares with her family had nothing to do with her decision - it was Ross' temper.

Taking to social media, she wrote: "The issue was - please make sure you've heard it - Ross' temper." She continued: "I’m just covering my back, right here right now. Just because I have been informed that a little bit of it is mentioned tomorrow at the commitment ceremony but not everything makes the cut. And I think that’s to protect Ross and his reputation. Of course, I want to protect Ross as well. So, whatever doesn’t make the cut, I won’t speak on."

She added: "But I just want to protect myself in a way as well and just say it was never about me wanting to be away from my family." Keen to not reveal to much ahead of the show, she told fans it "was a lot worse than that." This comes after the couple had their first major argument a couple of weeks ago after Sacha locked horns with her co-star Alex over the way he talks to women.

Things soon became heated between the pair which quickly escalated to the point Ross removed his wedding ring and threw it across the other side of the room. At the time, the couple stayed in different apartments as Sacha told the father of one, she no longer felt comfortable around him.

After making a huge effort, Sacha decided to forgive Ross. But it looks as though their argument has been firmly etched in her mind as she decided to not move to Manchester, outside of the experiment. In a heart to heart with her parents, Sacha said that she feared they could have another argument while she's living in a city where she has no support network around her.

Ross is also facing a dilemma as he doesn't want to move to Walsall as he will be further away from his daughter Blue. At the end of the episode the voice over detailing tonight's show said: "The dilemma of where to call home pushes Sacha and Ross to crisis point." Sharing the clip to her Instagram, she added: "The dilemma of moving???!!!! I wish that’s what I was so upset about."

Sacha said being close to her parents was not an issue as she has previously lived in Spain. Despite the star remaining tight-lipped over the status of her romance with Ross, reports have claimed that the couple have split and he is now in a new relationship. And they have gone public with their romance, sharing pictures on social media.
