Jimi Hendrix has been gone from this world for decades, but his talent is still recognized to this day. The rocker only spent a short time in the spotlight during his lifetime, but millions love him and his work, and longtime fans continue to show their support for the legendary guitar player by snapping up anything released that’s connected to his name.

The celebrated musician is back on the charts in the United Kingdom this week. A new box set that focuses on one specific period in his career titled Electric Lady Studios - A Jimi Hendrix Vision was released recently, and it was apparently of great interest to fans of the late, great artist.

Electric Lady Studios - A Jimi Hendrix Vision reaches a pair of charts in the U.K. this time around, and it’s a healthy winner on both of them. The latest from the rocker opens inside the top 40 on two tallies, thanks to what must have been a sizable first-week sales sum.

Hendrix launches his latest posthumous release highest on the Official Physical Albums chart. On that tally, the rocker debuts his project at No. 3.

Electric Lady Studios - A Jimi Hendrix Vision isn’t far behind that position on the only other roster it appears on this week. The retrospective look at a window in time of his studio recordings starts its time on the Official Albums Sales ranking at No. 35, just two slots lower than on the physical-only tally.

Hendrix earns his first new placement on both of those rankings in nearly two years. The last time he debuted a project on those charts was in December 2022. That year, a live recording named Los Angeles Forum - April 26, 1969 reached No. 24 on the lists.

Electric Lady Studios - A Jimi Hendrix Vision was recorded at the famous recording studio that’s named in the album’s title. The musician and his band, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, taped the 39 tracks on the set between June and August of 1970. Sadly, the guitar maven would pass away about a month later, but the music he made at the time is still reaching audiences, even more than half a century later.
