Twice's Tzuyu follows Nayeon and Jihyo, debuting solo at No. 19 on Billboard 200 with 'abouTZU'

TWICE's Tzuyu has made an impressive solo debut on the Billboard 200 chart, entering at No. 19 with her first solo mini-album 'abouTZU' released on September 6th.

According to Billboard's social media on the 16th, Tzuyu's album debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 for the week of September 21st. 

She has become the first Taiwanese artist to break into the top 20 on this chart. 

Additionally, her album ranked No. 2 on Billboard's Top Album Sales for the week.

'abouTZU' reflects Tzuyu's growth as an artist, showcasing her journey from being the youngest member of TWICE to becoming a solo performer. 

She is the third member of TWICE, following Nayeon and Jihyo, to embark on solo activities.

TWICE has already achieved major success with their group releases, including topping the Billboard 200 with their 13th mini-album 'With YOU-th.' 

On the solo front, Nayeon's first two solo albums 'IM NAYEON' and 'NA' both peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, while Jihyo's first mini-album 'ZONE' reached No. 14.

In addition to their solo successes, TWICE completed their fifth world tour, 'Ready to Be' in Japan, with a historic solo concert at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa on July 27th and 28th, becoming the first foreign female artist to do so. 

Over the course of their 15-month-long world tour, they performed 51 shows in 27 cities, attracting 1.5 million fans globally.
