Stacey Solomon personally confirms emotional goodbye in 'last ever' announcement

Stacey Solomon has admitted to having an 'emotional day', which ended with her confirming her 'last ever' fashion collection with a Manchester clothing brand.

For several years, Stacey has been creating her own ranges with online retailer In The Style. Her first collection was released back in 2021.

She said at the time: "I’m so excited to be working with In The Style on my new collection. I’ve included all of my favourite things – florals, pastels and loungewear! With spring finally here, I’m looking forward to brightening up my wardrobe and I’m so happy to share what I’ve been working on."

The Loose Women star said that she had "loved the brand for a long time, and everything they stand for. I’ve enjoyed the design process and creating all the prints and shapes. I am really excited for everyone to see what we’ve created, an inclusive range was really important to me so we’ve made sure there really is something for everyone!"

But, as she prepares to release her autumn collection with In The Style later this month, she has confirmed on Wednesday (September 18) that it'll be her last one.

She shared a picture of herself modelling some pieces from the new collection in a mirror selfie before writing in a statement on her Instagram Story: "Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for @inthestyle."

The 34-year-old continued: "I have loved every single second of being able to design and create clothing with the most incredible team and literally bring my dream to life. Throughout this year I've thought a lot about work/family balance and things that have need to be prioritised.

"So I've decided to say goodbye to In The Style an other things that so that I can I've more of myself back to my family. In The Style has been a dream come true and I'm so grateful to have had such an incredible opportunity. I'm so proud of everything we created and achieved from making garments out of off cut, using recycled materials, our sizing ranges and everything in between. It's been a huge learning insight for me and a part of my career I'll remember forever.

"We wanted to end on a high so this last collection has every bit of love we could possibly give it and it only felt right to end it in my favourite season. I can't wait to show you soon. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our collections and showing them so much love. You have made this whole journey for me and I'll never forget it and never take it for granted."

She rounded off by saying: "Thank you to everyone at In The Style for this magical experience. Here's to the last ever collection. To the moon and back..."
