BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Aljaz Skorjanec's adorable Tasha Ghouri update as she meets the family

Aljaz Skorjanec has proved he and Tasha Ghouri are already getting on like a house of fire as he introduced her to the family ahead of their first Strictly Come Dancing performance.

It was announced over the summer that Aljaz was returning to the BBC One dance contest as a professional dancer following a two-year hiatus.

It was then over the weekend that Aljaz officially made his return to the iconic ballroom as Strictly kicked off its 2024 series with the airing of the pre-recorded launch show on Saturday (September 14).

During the show, it was revealed that Aljaz Skorjanec had been partnered with former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri. The pair were seen showing their moves together for the first time in a bright and wonderful group number while Aljaz was also given the honour of partnering Amy Dowden as she was given a celebratory dance for her return after undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

But it'll be this weekend that Tasha and Aljaz will be seen performing for the first time when the live shows officially begin this Saturday (September 21) and have been training this past week.

Despite the gruelling work beginning, it appears Tasha and Aljaz have been able to enjoy a break with the pair heading out for dinner with Aljaz's wife Janette Manrara and their daughter Lyra Rose while Tasha was joined by her boyfriend Andrew Le Page, who she met on ITV's Love island.

Taking to Instagram, Aljaz shared an adorable picture of them together which he captioned: "Table for four and a half please! #wholesome." And his fans and followers were quick to respond with joy over the update.

Meanwhile, Tasha also shared pictures of herself and Andrew enjoying some bonding time with one-year-old Lyra, much to Aljaz's delight. He reshared a picture of Tasha and his little girl and said: "My dance partners," while he branded Andrew 'uncle A' alongside a photo of him and Lyra together.
