Every year, EA Sports adds new skill moves into its newest EA Sports FC instalment, and EA FC 25 has received one of the best skill moves that we've seen to date – the trickster fake shot. EA FC 25 gameplay has come under fire in recent weeks with the latest patch notes featuring over 100 updates, but one part of the game that hasn't been changed is this overpowered skill move.

The meta speed boost glitch was patched earlier this month by EA, but alongside the overpowered EA FC 25 trickster fake shot, other overpowered metas such as power shots and trivela shots are yet to be patched too. How to perform a trickster fake shot in EA FC 25

Here's how to do a trickster fake shot in EA FC 25 on every platform:

• PS5 / PS4 – quickly press circle (O) then cross (X) before moving in the direction you want to go
• Xbox Series X|S – quickly press B then A before moving in the direction you want to go
• PC – quickly left-click then right-click before moving in the direction you want to go
• Nintendo Switch –quickly press A then L before moving in the direction you want to go

Unlike a regular fake shot, the trickster fake shot features a ball roll animation which ultimately makes it so overpowered. The ball roll technique almost shields the ball from the opposition, while your player almost glides in the direction you want them to move.

Only players who have the Trickster PlayStyle can complete the trickster fake shot. If you have a player with the Trickster PlayStyle Plus, then it's a bonus! Trickster PlayStyle Plus grants players the ability to perform more unique ground and flick skill moves, while they are significantly more agile when strafe dribbling.
