McDonald's snubs Plymouth from new 11am change

Only 18 places are excluded from the deal - including every Plymouth restaurant

McDonald's has rolled out a big menu change available from 11am - but its restaurants in Plymouth have been snubbed. The fast food giant confirmed its new October menu earlier this month, with the return of some seasonal fan favourites, such as the McCrispy Deluxe, as well as new items, including Cheese Bites.

The fast food giant is also rolling out a tempting new £5 meal deal. It means customers can customise their own meal by choosing a cheeseburger or Mayo Chicken, as well as a medium drink, medium fries, and four Chicken McNuggets - saving £2.50 per meal.

However it's bad news for Plymouth diners, because the offer is only available at selected McDonald's restaurants, Bristol Live reports. Eighteen across the country are excluded from the meal deal - including seven in Plymouth.

That means there'll be no meal deal on offer at both Plymouth New George Street restaurants, Plymouth Marsh Mills, Plymouth Tavistock Road, Plymouth Billacombe, Plymouth Burrington Way and across the bridge in Saltash.

A McDonald's spokesperson said: "Tired of a ham sandwich, ready salted crisps and a water? Meal Deals just got a WHOLE lot tastier as McDonald’s UK announces the launch of its FIRST EVER £5 Meal Deal across all participating restaurants.

"No matter if you’re a beef lover or a chicken connoisseur, you’ll be able to choose either a Cheeseburger or Mayo Chicken as your burger option. With four Chicken McNuggets not available to buy separately on the regular menu, this offer is more than just value for money – it’s truly unique!"
